**Experience**:10-12 years of progressive experience in the relevant industry, 6 years of experience in Operations or other managerial position in the (E-Commerce Industry)**.

**Requirement**: Applicant must be a local or having work permit

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented professional to join our team as the Director of Operations in the dynamic and fast-paced field of garments manufacturing. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the production team to create efficient schedules and ensure timely delivery of garments.
- Establish and enforce rigorous quality control processes to maintain high standards for garment production.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and minimize defects.
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement of raw materials, inventory management, and logistics.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure a consistent and timely supply of quality materials.
- Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize operational expenses.
- Identify areas for cost reduction without compromising product quality.
- Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work culture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and training programs to enhance team skills.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and other efficiency initiatives to streamline production processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and technology integration to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and ethical practices.
- Implement safety protocols to create a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Assess production capacity and scalability to meet current and future demand.
- Implement strategies for expanding production capabilities when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors or Master's degree in operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management within the garments manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of garment production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated success in optimizing production processes and achieving cost savings.
- Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
