**About the Role**:
Siyabona Africa Travel, a premier inbound tour operator specializing in Southern African safaris, is seeking a professional Switchboard Telephonist to join our dynamic team. This role serves as the first point of contact for our international clientele and requires excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Answer and direct all incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Manage high call volumes while maintaining excellent service standards
- Provide basic travel information and assist with bookings
- Maintain front desk operations and administrative support
- Route calls to appropriate departments (reservations, operations, finance)

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years experience in reception or switchboard operations
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
- Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and MS Office
- Travel/tourism qualification or experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure during peak seasons
