As technology continues to advance, UAV operations are playing an increasingly crucial role in various industries, from surveillance and reconnaissance to data collection and beyond.

We are seeking a **Quality Controller** to join our team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulations. They will conduct thorough inspections, identify defects or deviations from specifications, and implement corrective actions to maintain product integrity. **This position is based in** **Airport City, Cape Town.**

**REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Certification in quality management or quality assurance (Lead Quality Auditor, Internal auditor)
- 3-5 years’ experience in quality, preferably in a manufacturing or technical production environment.
- Experience in conducting internal audits, incoming inspections in the supply chain environment
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in inspection and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical report writing skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma or equivalent qualification in relevant engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards (ISO, SACAA regulations).
- Familiarity with risk management principles and tools (FMEA, risk assessment).
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (Bow tie, Fishbone, 5w).
- Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and requirements.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformities, or deviations from quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure adherence to quality procedures.
- Train production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality control.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and drive quality excellence across the organization.
