**POSITION: IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN**

**LOCATION: BENONI**

**JOB SUMMARY**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, including password resets, printer troubleshooting, and connectivity problems.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to understand their needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Document solutions and create user manuals to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on larger projects and initiatives.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.

Ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues related to user accounts, printers, and network connectivity.

Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with end-users.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Documentation Skills:
Proficient in writing user manuals and documenting technical information clearly and effectively.

Certifications:
Preferred: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals.

Additional certifications (e.g., Office 365, Azure skills) are a plus

**EXPERIENCE**

At least 1 year of relevant work experience in IT support or a related field

**MINIMUM EDUCATION**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
