**JUNIOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - ENTRY LEVEL**

**LOCATION: BENONI**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

Junior Engineering Technician to the Engineering Department

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provisioning of new units.
- Unit Repairs or Refurbishments.
- Provisioning and Firmware upgrade on repair and refurbed units.
- Assist with packaging of new units.
- Repair System Ticket Updates.
- Simcard Allocation to units.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Basic computer skills
- Great attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Be able to work creatively, independently and collaboratively as a team member and be able to multi-task and prioritize projects.
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills

**MINIMUM EXPERIENCE**
- Working experience advantageous but not needed.
- Experience in Computer/Electronic hardware industry will be advantageous but not needed.
- Soldering Experience will be advantageous but not needed.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION**
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
