- Doing a visual and dimensional inspection products after finishing checking the welds, filling in of job cards and paperwork ,working together in a team to achieve the targets
- Roles and Responsibilities- Working with the Quality team, such as the Quality manager and Qc inspectors
- Visual and dimensional checks on products (Cracks, miss welds, holes ect.)
- Check welds and finishing quality
- Filling in of jobcard after inspection
- Working as a team with the other quality inspectors to reach targets
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to the superior
- Adhere to company guidelines and procedures
- Able to work with a measuring tape- Key Performance Indicators- Daily targets
- Quality of your work
- Total inspections
- 100% quality required
- Follow standard operating procedure
- Conducting Pre finishing inspections
- Low non-conformance rate on finishing
- Overall low scrap ratio.
- Report any non-conformance or scrap part to department head immediately.
- Maintain production targets and minimum requirements daily.
- General housekeeping at workstation
- Timeous Completing of all relevant production documentation.
- Comply to Health & safety code-
