Are you someone who can:

- Develop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG.
- Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters.
- Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders, that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions.
- Provide functional leadership in the risk management field including deep technical expertise and being an advocate for people and cultural developments.
- Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of Group and R&C functional strategic objectives in partnership to enable business objectives and creation of shareholder value.
- Define, develop, and influence fit for purpose organizational policies, procedures, standards, and frameworks to efficiently manage practice. Where necessary, you can lead communities of practice.
- Manage the R&C segment wide risk profile by providing risk management strategies, tools, and methodologies to the area of responsibility to mitigate the risk of loss or breaches of appetite.
- Exercise oversight and provide guidance to the business in driving appropriate Risk Management
- strategies, within approved risk appetites and risk thresholds
- Measure and report on segment risk exposures to determine the effectiveness of risk mitigating techniques.
- Engage in cross-functional relationships to obtain and to provide work support across multiple risk domains to identify and manage risk exposure.
- Demonstrate leadership behavior through personal involvement, commitment, and dedication in support of organisational values.
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee development.
- Have a degree or post graduate degree in business or risk related fields.
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 2 to 3 years ideally at senior management level
