Job overview

My client in the Maintenance industry is looking for a Qualified Elconop 1 to join their team in Pinelands on a fixed term contract.

Responsibilities (Not limited to)
- Installing and fixing of flush and surface mounted wire ways and ancillary equipment
- Installing of cables including the fitting of glands, making of and securing of such cables but excluding the connection thereof
- Installing and connecting of socket outlets, erecting and connecting of luminaries, operating a trenching machine, performing the work of an electrical assistant and general assistant, assisting a master installation electrician, an installation electrician, an electrical tester for single-phase, an electrician or artisan and an Elconop 2 or Elconop 3.
- Assist with various tasks on various electrical construction projects

Knowledge, skills and qualifications
- Qualified Elconob 1 with minimum of 2 years electrical construction experience
- Valid proof of qualifications and credentials
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience with strong stores and stock control experience
- Willing to work weekends
- Basic computer literacy and proficient in MS Office/Excel
- Well organised an able to work independently and in a team environment with positive and patient interpersonal skills
- Matric certificate
- Must be vaccinated

Salary

Salary based on ECA rates and experience.
