To direct and manage the MIS for a function within an organisation. Provide MIS improvements and standardised procedures.

- Industry Intelligent reports and analysis that will focus our innovation and development of the fleet value;
- FNB Fleet analysis that will be a factor in providing intelligent input for our Strategic Focus and drive.
- fuel intelligent analysis reports for cost saving;
- data intelligent graphics and reports that will optimize a fleet
- In addition to the above, the incumbent will also be required to execute and manage the Fleet Data Integrator Category A of the RT46 Transversal Tender for Fuel and Vehicle Management.
- This role is critical for the delivery of KPI for all customer. The position and the required skill is key to our fleet business and is strategic in how we position the fleet value prop for the future
- this role will have a dual reporting line into the CEO Structured Lending Solutions as well as the Fleet Product Growth Head.

**responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement a cycle of medium-term improvements to drive profitability and strategic objectives through BI.
- Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency
- Develop a BI service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service
- Develop business intelligence (BI) Framework, Data Extraction, Data Staging, Data Transformations and Data Quality, Data Loading, Dimensional Modeling, Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) and Data Mining - strategy and plan
- Comply, understand and implement all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
- Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices. Ensure drafting and implementation of appropriate interventions. Ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Identify business opportunities or create new business concepts and development approaches to support business growth through business intelligence tools and models
- Control the management of agreed BI projects to ensure successful implementation within agreed timelines and ensure effectiveness of projects by investigating the integrated nature of the project, requirements must be distributed to all affected Business units in order that they prioritise the project.
- Develop and maintain Data-Content standards to be used within assigned segment and/or product house by performing data profiling, conducting complex Logical Data Modeling, Data Acquisition and Access Analysis to Devise New Logical Data Models, processes and procedures in need.
- Support best practice and innovation in the operational model through critical assessment of its workings and challenge to its design assumptions so Business Intelligence (BI) can make a relevant difference
- Analyse and develop business intelligence based on data analysed, data collected, reviewed, and incorporate all internal and external benchmarking data for future solutions.
- Manage own development to increase own competencies
- Facilitate the conversion of knowledge and ideas into new or improved products for the Business Intelligence environment
