- Reporting to the General Manager- Responsibilities/Duties:
- Responsible for all day to day functions within the stores and factory and oversee the stores picker and factory workers (8) and be experienced in interacting with suppliers telephonically, over sales counter, factory production, despatch, accounts departments and overseas and local suppliers as required.- Buying of all requirements for the factory / stores for the company which will also include purchasing from our international principals situated in Europe and USA and any other International organization we may deal with as well as local suppliers.- Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Stock requirement planning, stock movement analysis.- Scheduling of containers from overseas as well as placing of indents and arranging clearing details with forwarding agents.- Scheduling of air shipments from the USA- Controlling and upkeep of stores as well as factory including goods receiving, vouchers, goods issuing vouchers, stock counts and control and stock adjustments and transfers.- Processing of works orders from sales to factory.- Scheduling of deliveries on a daily basis and keeping control of dispatch as well as the driver.- Responsible for managing all inventories in the stores/factory.- Responsible for managing planned stock takes as required- Overseeing 8 factory staff members in production and one stores assistant and one driver- Individual must be willing and able to assist when and where necessary with breakdown of machinery and equipment in the factory to ensure least downtime in production-
**Inherent Requirements**
- Matric- Stores/Factory Controller experience- Buying - local and international- Technical background with the aptitude to learn our product range if no experience in the technical / industrial filters / instruments exist.- Pc literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Accpac- Valid driver’s license as well as own reliable transport- Reside in surrounding areas to Elandsfontein**What Qualification**
