AECOM is seeking a talented and motivated BIM Modeller specializing in Highways to join our team in Bellville, South Africa. As a key member of our innovative engineering group, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge highway projects, including freeways, state routes, and local municipal roads.
- Create accurate 3D models, drawings, sketches, and diagrams for highway projects using Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads
- Assist design engineers in producing high-quality highway models and drawings for both international and local projects
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM models
- Participate in design progress and coordination meetings, actively contributing ideas and solutions
- Analyze and interpret data from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models
- Develop efficient workflows to optimize project timelines and budgets
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in highway design
- Ensure all work adheres to project specifications, standards, and quality requirements

**Qualifications**
- Draughting Certificate required; National Diploma (NDip) in a related field is an advantage
- 2-5 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in highway or transportation projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; knowledge of Microstation and OpenRoads is a plus
- Strong 3D modeling skills and understanding of BIM principles and practices
- Familiarity with highway design standards and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
