Ranger Pricing Manager

POSITION DETAILS
- Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Communication and working relationships
- Develop detailed financial analysis with recommendations for all future program studies supporting management decision making
- Status Reporting and participation in status reviews that lead up to Board Meetings
- Support launch analysis - pricing for each individual series and associated variable marketing strategy consistent with planned launch timing. Associated price position analysis
- Yield management support and analysis to drive profit improvement
- Preparing presentations including providing regular reporting on vehicle line profitability
- Following up on special cost analysis and benchmarking assignments involving cross-functional skill teams and associated finance skill team support
- Developing financial review materials for senior management
- Provide leadership and support to operating team to deliver profitable sales volume and other key metrics by actively engaging in business decisions
- Perform detailed analysis to identify significant movement in contribution margin vehicles, identifying low profit, break even or negative margins
- Understand all business implications, complete income statement and engage with Teams in remote locations to develop strategies for future model vehicles
- Support business plan, budget and forecast working with operating team meeting business requirements and deliverable to input to the Profit Team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance with Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, CMA or CA or global equivalent degrees preferred with at least 8 - 10 years’ leadership /managerial experience in operating finance positions
- Highly proficiant in Excel, Powerpoint and ERP systems
- Understanding of Automotive Industry & Manufacturing would be advantageous
PERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA
- The mean to measure the accomplishment of the position responsibilities
- Provide senior management with actionable information to improve overall business plan profitability through strategic and tactical actions
- Independently perform analysis and perform competitive benchmarking
- Provide consultancy and guidance to ensure correct treatment of South Africa unique profitability aspects, such as tax and duty impacts to remote teams
- Maintain strong communication with all teams local and remote to ensure high quality accurate results are presented to inform decision making
- Jointly work on business cases with business partners to ensure that all proposals reflect the latest financials and are optimized to provide profit and growth opportunities
