Product and Pricing Specialist

Right now, we have an exciting job opening for our next Product and Pricing specialist. **What’s in it for you?** In this role as Product and Pricing specialist, you will be located at our offices in Irene, Pretoria reporting to our Commercial Director at Volvo Cars South Africa (VCSA) and be part of a small team. The team works very closely together supporting and helping each other to reach the results and team goals. You will be responsible for the management of the product carlines, their positioning in the market and their pricing as well as the development of revenue activities both for cars already in the market and new cars to be introduced. **What you’ll do**: - Develop proposals in terms of specifications, pricing, volume and penetration for new car introductions - Monitor the market to propose changes to prices and offers of cars on sale - Coordinate the process between external and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth introduction of new models as well as supporting lifecycle cars - Administer all internal processes and systems related to specification, pricing, approval - Manage projects **Do you fit the profile?** We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in business (sales, planning, after-sales or business development) and knowledge and passion for product, and specification analysis as well as pricing and offer focus. You should demonstrate competency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel skills. Bachelor’s degree preferably in business management, finance or economics. It is beneficial to have experience from the automotive industry and/or proven project management, planning and business development record. **Who are you?** We are looking for you if you are detail oriented with an analytical mindset and are keen on reviewing information, knowing what is accurate and taking appropriate actions.
