Procurement Manager

Vodacom’s number 1 Franchisee (11 Retail branches within KZN and 2 in Sandton) with Head offices in Montclair requires an accomplished, skilled and energetic Procurement Manager

The successful incumbent will be responsible for procurement of stock for the Group as well as maximize profitability and minimize losses on age stock.

**Qualities required for the position**:

- Must be tech savvy (smartphones, tablets, laptops, internet of things, gear watches, accessories, gaming, gadgets and routers)

- Ability to work in a very fast paced industry is essential
- Quality and attention to detail is essential
- Must have strong leadership skills and able to manage and own the department

**Key responsibilities**
- Forecasting and Buying for the entire group
- Able to manage stock levels in an always changing unpredictable industry
- Able to predict stock buying accurately before product launch and ensure consistent stock levels whilst keeping in mind that Smart devices are like a stock exchange
- Manage faulty stock and returns
- Constant competitor analysis to ensure we are always ahead of our game and leading in the industry
- Work closely with the Marketing department to ensure training videos of unboxing and cheat sheets done timeously
- Managing promotions via suppliers in all stores
- Building and managing a squad team to be able to exhibit at events and malls
- Managing redundant/faulty stock and rotations between all Retail stores and Head Office according to company and supplier policies
- Building and managing processes and policies within the department

Finding new suppliers and products to ensure new revenue streams created.

Managing deliveries to stores

Manage the team within your department.

Retail is detail.......

Monday 8:00am - 17:00pm

Saturday 8:00am - 13:30pm

Prepared to extra hours during launches and peak periods.

**Package**:
Basic salary: R17500.00 - R20000.00 Gross

Plus incentives after 6 months
