- Gauteng- The store manager must ensure the efficient operation and supervision of the store and it’s resources. They are responsible for the management, motivation and engagement of staff as well as achieving sales and profit objectives.- This position is best suited to an experienced retail manager with an energetic, hands-on approach, who enjoys dealing with people and being present on the sales floor alongside customers and staff.**People Management**
- Oversee and manage staff workflows and tasks
- Mentor the store staff and lead by example
- Assist the HR team by managing staff leave, disciplinary issues, attendance and overtime
- Measure the performance of staff according to KPI’s
- Identify and report on staff development needs as well as assist with recruiting and training of staff
- Conduct weekly meetings with staff to ensure that sales targets are on track and address any operational issues
- Encourage positive staff morale Sales
- Lead the sales team by exhibiting excellent salesmanship
- Drive sales and keep staff motivated to meet sales targets
- Meet with site/area manager regularly to review operational objectives
- Ensure staff have up-to-date information about new products, procedures and business objectives

**Store Operations**
- Managing inventory, receiving of stock, keeping accurate inventory counts
- Facilitating regular stock takes on a schedule and managing stock shrinkage
- Managing the financial processes of the stores, such as banking, handling of cash, daily cash ups, cash reconciliation checks
- Being security conscious at all times
- Visual merchandising
- Store appearance and cleanliness
- Facilitate product warranties, returns and repairs
- Making sure orders are dispatched in the promised time frames and ensuring solid communication to the customer during the fulfillment process
- Completion of all daily, weekly and monthly paperwork

**Customer Service**
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service, leading the team by example
- Have good intuition when it comes to resolving customer issues
- Follow up on all customer queries and complaints in a timely manner
- Build customer relationships and loyalty
- Communicate effectively with professionalism and friendliness
- Understanding that in-store interactions have an impact on our online reputation
- Exhibit an ethos of “under promising and over delivering”, delighting customers at any given opportunity**Inherent Requirements**

**Requirements**:

- Good leadership
- Senior certificate
- Minimum 3 years experience as a retail manager
- Competency in Microsoft Office and Google software
- Excellent computer skills
- Solid writing and communication skills
- Must be passionate about technology and able to adapt to new software and systems
- Good administration skills
- Excellent salesmanship and ability to close deals
- Experience in training others
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Track record of achieving sales targets
- Dedicated to a positive customer experience
- Passion for photography and video

**Advantageous**
- Relevant retail/business management qualification
- Experience in photography and videography.
- Experience in e-commerce
- Bi-lingual
