**Shop Assistant (Part-Time) - Sugar Fix Creations**

**Hourly Rate**: R30/hour
**Location**: Cape Town (shop in town & mobile food trailers at various venues)
**Type**: Part-Time / Casual
**Transport**: Own reliable transport essential

Sugar Fix Creations is looking for a **reliable, friendly, and hardworking Shop Assistant** to join our growing team You’ll support both our town-based shop and our mobile trailers at markets and events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with **opening and closing** the shop and trailer
- **Serve customers** with warmth and professionalism
- Help with **setup and breakdown** of trailers at events
- Maintain **strict hygiene and cleanliness standards**:

- **Clean trailers and wash all utensils, surfaces, and equipment thoroughly** after every shift
- Handle **cash and mobile payments** accurately
- Support with **stock prep, packing, and restocking**

**Requirements**:

- **Matric**:

- **Own reliable transport** to reach varying market locations and our shop
- Available to work **early mornings, weekends, and public holidays**:

- Physically able to lift and move items during setup/pack-down
- Must be **punctual, detail-oriented, and take pride in cleanliness**:

- Experience in food service or customer-facing roles is an advantage

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From R30,00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)
