**QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER**

**INTRODUCTION**

We are looking for a professional with strong QC/QA skills who is dynamic, driven, hardworking, self-motivated, and ambitious person and will be able to work independently, accurately and with a high degree of responsibility.

This is a 100% on-site and hands-on position.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Minimum education (essential):
N6 Diploma/ B.Tech - Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical

Minimum education (desirable):

- Technical Qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronic fields
- Certifications to:

- IPC-A-610,
- IPC J-STD-001,
- IPC/HWMA-A-620
- Exposure to ISO 9001 (IATF16949/AS 9100 beneficial), ISO 14000

Minimum applicable experience (years):
Five (5) years experience within a manufacturing/electronic assembly environment and/or Two (2) years experience in Quality Assurance and Control environment

Required nature of experience:
Company engaged in Manufacturing, Defense, Aeronautics, Automotive or Telecommunications industries.

Skills and Knowledge
- MS Office
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- English literacy

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS, WEIGHTS & OBJECTIVES**
- Interpret, review, and ensure correct instructions and specs are present and used during the assembly process.
- Perform in-line inspections assuring quality and reliability of electronic and cable assemblies.
- Perform in-line inspections assuring mechanical integrity of the assemblies.
- Ensure ESD rules are followed during assembly and handling of products and components
- Ensure all products meet the requirements at each stage of assembly - in accordance with the provided specifications, instructions, applicable standards, and best practices.
- Ensure the provided instructions are followed during the assembly process
- Ensure all necessary assembly and performance inline, environmental (ESS) and FAT tests are executed and correctly documented.
- Analyse and approve/disapprove test results.
- Ensure all necessary measurements, photos and testing are conducted
- Perform comprehensive (covering mechanical, visual, finish, paint condition, adhesion, documents, PCL, etc. requirements) final inspection
- Distinguish between “Accept and Reject”.
- Initiate Non-Conformance reports and stop the process if necessary.
- Investigate nonconformance reports, if required upload issues on the system.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving utilizing various approved analysis tools.
- Assist with corrective and preventative actions
- Perform risk assessments.
- React fast and follow up on actions to completion.
- Make sure the measuring equipment is well maintained and calibrated
- Assist with internal audits and training
- Report problems timeously
- Assist with IQC and Kits Inspections - when necessary.
- Photograph the finished products before and after packaging and save them in relevant folders.
- Scan the required documents.
- Create weekly/monthly reports
- Ensure Quality, Safety, Housekeeping and Environmental procedures are adhered to.
