**_Qualifications & Experience_**

Matric (essential)

Completed related qualification (beneficial)

Tertiary qualification (Certificate/Nat Diploma/Degree) (beneficial)

Computer Literacy in MS Office and MS Excel

Previous experience as a Quality Inspector/Controller position (essential)

Proven experience in manufacturing/steel/automotive industry

**_Duties_**

Conduct daily quality inspections.

Record results of inspections accurately and submit the completed records to the relevant parties.

Reporting of nonconformities to the Quality Manager.

Valuate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective and or preventive action.

Approve finished products assuring that the product conforms to technical specifications and drawings.

Assist the direct area Industrial Engineer with improvement projects and the implementation thereof.

Assist with general administration duties as required from time to time.

Understand and implement the quality strategy.

Assume responsibility of the quality function.

Continuous inspection of quality and ensuring that all products are dispatched on standard.

Identify areas for quality improvement and implement initiatives to improve the standard and quality.

Administrate quality documentation.

Assist production lines with unforeseen quality challenges, provide guidance and implement corrective actions.

Maintain a high quality standard on the manufacturing floor.

Putting corrective, preventative actions in to place and continuous improvements.

Compile weekly quality reports.
