SAHETI Primary School Sports Department seeks a dedicated and friendly Sports intern to provide assistance to the sports department, coordinate their netball and swimming program, and foster a culture of physical activity and wellness among students.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Competencies/Skills/Requirements**:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, student and parents;
- Energetic, self-motivated, and able to use own initiative;
- Good organisational and administrative skills;
- Computer literacy;
- Must be a team player and be willing to go the extra mile;
- Ability to lead by example and demonstrate initiative;
- Willingness to accompany teams to sporting fixtures;
- Refereeing/Umpiring skills and Learn 2 Swim accreditation would be advantageous.

**Qualifications**:

- SACE registration would be advantageous.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in the same and/or similar type of position and environment;
- Ability to coach Netball and Swimming is essential;
- Experience in the organisation of sporting events.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist the MIC’s with controlling Sports Programme and sports events;
- Coaching in various Sporting Disciplines (netball and swimming would be advantageous);
- Schedule and coordinate sports events and matches;
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of sports equipment and facilities;
- Assist with conducting PE lessons as and when required.
