Property, Asset and Fund Management concern based in the North has an opportunity for a Head of Finance in Operations. This is a Senior Financial Manager role, with a requirement for a minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Management role.

The main focus of the role will be on the operational management of the business. This will include supporting the MD to drive the business and it's subsidiaries forward. Highly advantageous to come from the Property sector. Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the property and general market patterns.

**Min. qualification is a tertiary B.Com Finance or Accounting degree. Completed SAICA or CIMA articles is essential. Previous Group Consolidation experience is essential.**

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Senior Financial Manager (min. 5 years)

Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles

**B.Com degree in Finance or Accounting - essential**

**Completed SAICA or CIMA articles is essential**

**Understanding of complicated owner structure and multi-owners (JV's & SPV)**
Group consolidation experience

**Core Functions**
Management of finance team

Compile monthly management accounts

Release of suppliers and payments on online banking

Review of monthly management fee billings

Effective management of cash

Preparation of Head Office budgets

**The role will include but not be limited to**:
**Review / Analysis**
Monthly Balance Sheet and Income Statement recons for Audit File

Review of monthly cashflow analysis

Review monthly management accounts

Monthly variance commentary of actuals vs budget

Analyse group recoveries

Treasury: Cashflow management

**Responsibilities**:
Provide financial reports and interpretations to Exco

Advise on investment activities

Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, income driver results and actual performance compared to business plans

Develop trends and projections

**Reporting**:
Preparation and presentation of AFS

Prepare Income Tax Computations

**Ad hoc**:
Importing budgets into MDA

Release payments

Monitor internal control procedures

Liaise with Asset Managers

Plan and prepare of Financial Year End and Audits

Creating GL codes across all databases
