**Main purpose**:To manage and implement Technology requirements for the SIU, achieving mínimal downtime and improved network connectivity in order to maintain and enhance agreed service levels.

**Minimum qualification and experience**:BSc (Computer Science); BCom (Information Systems) or similar professional qualification. ITIL certification will be an advantage. Six years relevant experience in Technology of which two years at managerial level.

**Key performance areas (Include but not limited to)**:Provide strategic management to Technology Section. Manage IT staff by training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance. Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, operating systems, and IT support. Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance. Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems so that they operate effectively. Manage potential Technology risks. Departmental Planning and Implementation. Staff Management. Stakeholder Management.
