**AP Manufacturing Clerk**

**Purpose of the job**

The AP Manufacturing Clerk within the Accounts Payable SSC function will support the Accounts Payable Accountant (Manufacturing & Imports), by processing timeously and accurately all manufacturing and CMT payments.

This role will be responsible for ensuring deliverables are executed as per the time and quality standards agreed in the Accounts Payable SLAs.

**Experience**
- 1-3 years of relevant working experience, preferable in the manufacturing area

**Qualification**
- Matric required, with an advanced Diploma or equivalent certification in Finance/Accounting as preferable

**Key Performance Areas**
- Process all manufacturing payments as per agreed SLA;
- Receive from the Design and Manufacturing Finance team all daily CMT deliveries (units at contract price) for payment and process accordingly;
- Ensure accurate and timeous update of the Master File for relevant accounts payable transactions;
- Process changes/ maintenance on vendor information and update on required systems;
- Perform and complete all supplier payment reconciliations;
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping for all accounting activities for audit purposes;
- Work alongside the Accounts Payable teams to ensure all month end and year end processes are accurate and completed as per the agreed timelines and guidelines;
- Where required, escalate requests and queries accurately and timeously to the** **Accounts Payable Accountant (Manufacturing & Imports);
- Complete all processes and activities in line with the SLAs for the Accounts Payable function.
