Asset Controller

**VACANCY POST ALERT**
We are looking for an Asset Controller to manage the clients IT inventory.
**Experience**
- Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of stock.
- Placing and receiving orders to replenish stock as needed.
- Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays.
- Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing and labelling.
- Performing regular physical stock inventory audits weekly and monthly.
- Perform monthly consumable inventory count and send weekly report to IT asset team lead.
- Issuing stock to the users and update the system and excel spreadsheet accordingly.
- Packaging and issuing of the new joiner laptops.
- Monitoring calls logged on SN requesting the accessories and update accordingly.
- Grading of bags and other peripherals for disposal.
- Ensuring the stockroom is always clean.
- Retiring of machines on SN.
- Sign off users on SharePoint and complete the asset return form when user is exiting.
- Manages the PPE’s and ensure more stock is ordered when required.
**Desired Skills**:
- Proven work experience as a Stock Controller
- Excellent Organisational Skills
- Active Participation in inventory audits
- Excellent communication skills
**Qualifications**:
- Senior Certificate
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration would be advantageous
**Closing date**: 22 January 2024
Pay: R10 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
