- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Mechanical or Electrical Artisan Trade Certificate [Section 13 or 26D] or Mechanical / Electrical
Engineering diploma/degree
- Completion of a supervisory development program (preferred)
- Valid Medical certificate of Fitness
- Covid-19 Coronavirus Vaccination Certificate [Site Specific]
- High Level of Computer literacy (relevant software programs)
- 5+ years as an artisan on the mine or as an Assistant Planner Engineering on a mine
- 5+ years of experience as a Foreman (preferred)
- Exposure to Computer Based Maintenance Systems (CMMS) or similar software
- Scheduling software (MS project, Primavera, etc.) will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Mine Construction and Shaft Sinking
- Understands the ISO Quality Management Processes.
