Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize hotel occupancy and profitability across multiple properties.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and performance metrics to inform pricing strategies.
Oversee the distribution of room inventory across various channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and reservations teams to ensure consistent and competitive pricing.
Manage and update the hotel group’s revenue management systems and tools.
Conduct regular performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Develop and maintain relationships with third-party partners, such as OTAs and distribution platforms.
Implement and enforce best practices in yield management, rate parity, and distribution channel management.
Lead training sessions for hotel staff on revenue management principles and tools.
Prepare and present revenue performance reports to senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management, preferably within the hotel industry.
Strong understanding of distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
Proficient in revenue management systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis, IDeaS ).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and partners.
Proven ability to develop and implement successful revenue strategies.
Knowledge of the Cape Town hotel market is an advantage.
