Working Hours: 45 hours per week (including weekends)

Tessa's Bakery, located in the bustling Willowbridge Centre, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of our bakery.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assist them with their inquiries, and provide product recommendations and information.

2. Sales and Upselling: Proactively engage with customers to promote our bakery products, upsell additional items, and maximize sales opportunities.

3. Product Display and Merchandising: Ensure that bakery products are attractively displayed, well-stocked, and properly labeled, adhering to our visual merchandising standards.

4. Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit card, and electronic payments. Maintain cash register and ensure accountability at the end of each shift.

5. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with our bakery offerings, including ingredients, flavors, and specials, to effectively assist customers with their orders and dietary requirements.

6. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including display shelves, counters, and customer seating areas. Adhere to health and safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or bakery environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work 45 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays.
