Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent academic qualification
- Previous retail management experience
- Experience in training and managing a team
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Strong accounting, banking, management and math skills
- Retail ERP system experience and strong computer skills (MS Excel and MS Word)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule that is willing to work after hours if necessary.
- Attention to detail.
- Good work ethics
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Must reside in Cape town.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
To perform the following tasks:

- Assisting the store manager in all areas of daily business operations, human resources, customer service and merchandising
- Coordinating, monitoring and reporting on daily operations
- Representing employer in disciplinary enquiries and enforcing disciplinary action
- Ensuring the store environment complies with health and safety regulations
- Completing UI19 and COIDA documents
- Recruiting, training and supervising employees
- Managing employee shift schedules and conducting performance reviews
- Monitoring and maintaining suitable store inventory level, and stock lost prevention
- Assisting with the development of new sales and recruitment strategies
- Conducting Marketing and Sales promotions in-store
- Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner
- Ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R17,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Management: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Tygervalley, Western Cape (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Tygervalley, Western Cape: Relocate before starting work (required)
