**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lesson Planning and Delivery**:

- Conduct one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions for students of various age groups (primary, secondary, high school).
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with Techknowkid's curriculum and student goals.
- **Student Engagement and Support**:

- Assess each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, tailoring lessons to meet their needs.
- Foster a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents when needed.
- **Curriculum Development and Improvement**:

- Contribute ideas for enhancing Techknowkid’s curriculum, lesson plans, and tutoring approaches.
- Stay updated on the latest teaching techniques, educational technology, and trends in STEM education.
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and assessments on a regular basis.
- Communicate scheduling, lesson details, and other relevant information promptly with students and parents.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. (SACE or Provisional SACE requirement)
- 1+ years of tutoring experience in an online environment, preferably with children or teenagers.
- Strong communication skills with an approachable and patient teaching style.
- Ability to use online teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom).
- Passion for education and the ability to inspire young learners in technology and STEM fields.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: R100,00 - R20 000,00 per month

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Tutoring, teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Online Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- SACE or Provisional SACE (preferred)
