**Power BI Specialist - Durban**

Our client is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Power BI Specialist.

The position will be on a 1-year contract basis with the opportunity to become a permanent employ depending on performance and operational requirements.

**Overview**

To design, develop and maintain Power BI Dashboards for the business and for customers, to support and enhance delivery of the various solutions.
- Design and develop Power BI Reports/Dashboards for the business and customers according to specified scopes, using analytical thinking and transforming data into informative visuals and reports
- Maintain Power BI Report/Dashboards
- Document Structure of Power BI Reports/Dashboards

**CORE COMPETENCIES**
- Relevant tertiary education - Degree or Diploma in BS/MS in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
- Experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries.
- Should be familiar and experienced in SQL.
- Business Intelligence Knowledge
