**What’s the opportunity?**

We are looking for a professional with literacy in both privacy and technology to assist in the implementation and improvement of a global privacy and security program at dLocal.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Liaise with the Product department to advise on building privacy-friendly products, services, and processes by embedding data protection throughout every stage of development (privacy by design).
- Liaise with the IT department to ensure implementation of privacy practices for data security and control, such as minimization, bring your own device, limited access, and encryption.
- Review and develop security policies, including data classification policies, data retention, and data deletion.
- Assist in the development and/or improvement of data inventories to include data classification based on risk assessments.
- Assist in the investigations and disclosures of data breaches and security incidents to ensure compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements
- Assist in the implementation of technical and organizational measures (data aggregation, de-identification, encryption, access management, authentication)
- Develop privacy and security awareness training and programs

**What skills do I need?**:

- Good conceptual understanding of information technology and data management
- Sound understanding of the principles/issues involved in Information Security, Technology Risk Management, and Data Privacy
- Basic understanding of GDPR (o equivalent framework such as LGPD)
- Knowledge of the ISO 27001 framework is a plus
- Pragmatic personality (action-oriented).
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and to learn on the Fly
- Customer focus
- Analytical skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly to others and to identify and escalate issues of concern to management, as appropriate
- Ability to work in a pressured environment while prioritizing appropriately competing objectives
- Supportive and reliable team member.
- Self-motivated
- Organized and diligent
