The company develops specialized equipment that fills, seals and packs plastic cups/tubs, that is leased to customers globally. The Operations Manager will be responsible to ensure that the lease obligations are met by ensuring the on-site technicians are properly supported and performing their maintenance, support and reporting duties effectively. This will require maintaining good relationships with customers and understanding their production requirements to ensure that the resources are managed appropriately.

The majority of the customers and staff are overseas based, namely, North & Central America, Europe, Asia, Australia & Southern Africa. In addition to the on-site technical staff, the operations manager must also manage a team of support staff based at head office in Paarl.

**Requirements**:

- A BEng or BSC Engineering Degree, preferably in Mechatronics, Mechanical & Electrical knowledge is required.
- +-5 years management / leadership experience
- A high level of spoken and written English is essential.
- A good understanding of both machine mechanics & electronic control systems
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate, lead and grow his/her team, with 80% of the staff not based in the same country, this is of the utmost importance
- Ensuring all lease equipment is correctly maintained by constantly managing on-site resources and support staff
- Ensure all lease equipment is calibrated and audited annually.
- Customer facing personality with the ability to maintain good customer relations
- The operations manager is responsible for managing the budget for the technical support of all lease lines within their portfolio

**Salary**: Up to R890,000.00 per year
