As South Africa’s largest JSE-listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), Growthpoint owns and manages a diversified portfolio of over 490 high-quality commercial, retail, and industrial properties across South Africa, Australia, and Eastern Europe. What to Expect

- An 11-month experience that offers real responsibilities, impactful projects, and continuous learning across South Africa’s leading property portfolio.
- Valuable exposure to different teams, environments, and operations in off-site locations. These experiences, when they arise, are a great way to broaden your perspective and deepen your understanding of the property industry.
- As part of the journey, you will attend a role specific learnership to accelerate your development.

Reporting Manager

Throughout your journey, you will be supported by a Senior Manager who will provide direction, feedback and mentorship to help you grow, learn and thrive in your role.

What You Will be Empowered to Do

As a Growthpoint Graduate, you’ll be actively involved from day one. Your role is designed to challenge, inspire and equip you for a thriving career in the property industry.

- Communicate with impact: Craft reports, briefings, articles, and presentations that influence and inspire.
- Support strategic implementation: Help bring sector-specific recommendations to life by monitoring progress and reviewing action plans.
- Deliver insightful business reports: Tailor your communication to different audiences, ensuring clarity, relevance and measurable outcomes.
- Build meaningful relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project groups and key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Be a proactive contributor: Engage fully in meetings, events and team activities, bringing energy, ideas and initiative.
- Own your development: Take charge of your personal and professional growth, with support from mentors and peers.

We welcome graduates with the following qualifications specialising in Electrical Engineering:
**Undergraduate**

- Bachelor of Engineering (BEng)
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc Eng)
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BEngTech)

**OR Postgraduate Studies in Electrical, Energy or Power Engineering**

Competencies and Skills

- Confidence with digital tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A deadline-driven mindset so you are able to manage your time and priorities.
