**JUNIOR AND/OR SENIOR COMMERCIAL SECRETARY**

A reputable Legal Practice, based in the V & A Waterfront, Cape Town, is seeking the professional services of an experienced Commercial Secretary.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support by managing schedules, drafting, and managing correspondence.
- Prepare, proofread, and file documents such as commercial agreements, company documents, and the like.
- Maintain and organise client files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Liaise with clients and relevant parties on behalf of the Commercial Department.
- Manage client billing, file management, and invoicing as required.
- Co-ordinate meetings and appointments.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the protection of sensitive information
- Drafting and preparation of Commercial Agreements and relevant Commercial Documents.
- Ad hoc administrative functions.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- A professional and approachable attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information

**Desirable Skills**
- Knowledge of Litigation and/or Company Law is an advantage.
- Previous experience and/or knowledge of commercial agreements and related matters (CIPC, FICA and the like)
- Knowledge and working proficiency of LegalSuite will be advantageous.
- Office management and billing systems
- Relevant legal qualification or certification is beneficial
- Able to work independently and have meticulous attention to detail.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)
- Secretarial Experience: 2 years (required)

**Salary is commensurate with skills and experience**

Pay: R15 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
