**Position Overview**

Printing SA is seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Regional Manager**to lead its Gauteng Regional operations. This role is instrumental in managing the organisations activities across the following regions:

- Gauteng
- Free State
- North-West
- Limpopo
- Mpumalanga
- Northern Cape

The **Regional Manager**will provide strategic leadership, oversee day-to-day operations, drive member engagement, and contribute to the overall growth and success of Printing SA.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Organisational Leadership & Industry Representation**
- Provide strong leadership to the regional team and operations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Printing SA’s strategic and operational plans.
- Advocate for the interests of the printing, packaging, and signage industry with relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry bodies, including but not limited to FP&M SETA, SATU, Statutory Council, and regional Chambers of Commerce.
- Promote career opportunities within the industry through school career days and industry events.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities.

**2. Regional Operations & Membership Services**
- Oversee the daily operations of the Gauteng Regional office.
- Coordinate and execute key events such as Regional Executive Committee (REC) meetings, business forums, and networking engagements.
- Develop and implement membership growth strategies, ensuring high-quality services for members.
- Promote and provide consulting services in HR, legal, business, and training to enhance member value.
- Lead initiatives aimed at developing a skilled workforce within the industry.

**3. Financial Management**
- Prepare and manage the Regions annual budget.
- Control expenditure and ensure financial compliance in line with Printing SA’s policies.
- Drive revenue generation through membership growth and value-added services.

**4. Member Engagement & Development**
- Foster strong relationships with existing and prospective members.
- Organise forums, events, and training sessions tailored to member needs.
- Communicate industry updates through newsletters, bulletins, and direct engagements.
- Develop strategies to enhance member satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships that align with long-term business objectives.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A qualification or experience in the printing or packaging industry is advantageous.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 5 years in a regional operations management role, preferably within the printing and packaging industry.
- **Certifications**:Valid Code B driver’s license.
- **Technical Skills**:Strong knowledge of labour laws (LRA, BCEA, EEA), SETA regulations, business development, and sales.
- **Soft Skills**:Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, manage a team, and thrive under pressure.
