Management Trainee: Communications

**KEY PURPOSE** **Key Duties & Responsibilities**: Develop and implement plans for critical organisational internal communication and employee engagement efforts - Attend all critical internal project meetings to support internal customers with communication efforts - Support with the development of employee communication materials - Conduct surveys to gather internal insights and develop plans to improve communication and employee engagement - Develop plans for internal and external events - Plan and ensure seamless execution of webinars and Teams Live events - Where required, arrange video shoots for ExCom and senior leadership - Support the development of content for social media platforms (Yammer and LinkedIn) - Provide communication support to functional project managers - Participate in the development of external profiling plans leveraging media to tell a compelling CCBSA story - Support the development of narratives that support external profiling and positioning - Help conceptualise engagement platforms with media and arrange requisite events - Expeditiously respond to media as per approved process plan - Track media and alert R&R Head on matters that may impact the business and support with the development of strategic responses as required - Participate in departmental teams and committees (operate as the departmental "glue") to drive cohesion and integration across initiatives, departments, and regions - Maintain a robust depository of relevant and reliable media contacts - Work closely with the Regions to support their regional communication efforts **Skills, Experience & Education**: - Relevant bachelor degree - At least 2-3 years relevant working experience - An added advantage will be knowledge of CCBSA’s products, strategy, Socio-Economic Development programmes, and organisational structure - An added advantage will be knowledge of the FMCG Industry - Valid driver’s licence - Competent in Microsoft Office. - South African Citizen - Must have own vehicle **KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES** - Desire to develop and maintain a deep understanding of relevant content. - Strong relationship building skills. - Good communication skills, i.e. written, verbal including listening. - Self-starter and ability to take initiative - Ability to influence, negotiate and persuade with a genuine understanding of fair business practice. - Ability to understand and navigate complex internal and external environments. - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with the business to generate positions as well as buy-in respectively. - Ability to manage projects and oversee others in the management of projects. - Ability to pay close attention to detail. - Action orientated with exceptional follow through skills and proven record of strong execution of plans. - Sound organizational skills. **General**:
