**5* HOTEL RESTAURANT MANAGER - DURBAN - RNeg**

Currently recruiting for a RESTAURANT MANAGER for a 5* Hotel in Durban to lead and organize the restaurant team, to set and maintain standards and to strive to always keep improving standards whilst maintaining budget and gross profit. Responsible to operate within the policies and procedures as set out in the operating manual.

Minimum Requirements:

- 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role in a 5-star establishment
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous stock control experience
- Knowledgeable in use of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management would be an advantage
- Must be a team leader and excellent with staff
- Must have the ability to manage and lead a team

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

- Must be well groomed, reliable, courteous and flexible
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
- Charismatic

Key Responsibilities:

- To ensure the guests get the highest level of food and beverage service by making contact with the guests and to check customer’s satisfaction
- Maintain a high standard personal service with all guests
- To take personal responsibility for any guest situations, seeing the situation through to the solution
- To ensure that your outlet is following correct billing procedures so that all revenue is correctly allocated and recorded
- Promoting and maximizing sales
