We are looking to recruit a permanent Finance Administrator to work within the Inventory department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Senior Shrinkage Analyst
**Job description**:
- Job Purpose:
To focus on the determination of shrinkage incurred in retail stock at location level.
Job Objectives:
- Focus on Shrinkage Inventory risk area.
- Perform weekly/monthly accounting control procedures in order to eradicate paper shrinkage.
- Requires an ongoing understanding of all inventory/shrinkage related financial systems and control at Head Office and Location level.
- Determine the theoretical stock per location by performing certain completeness and cut-off procedures on the financial systems.
- Liaise with inventory contact person(s) in brands/locations in order to obtain information from locations.
- Ensure that financial documents are processed accurately in the financial ledger in order to capture paper shrink corrections identified in the shrinkage process.
- Determine exceptions and trends in various shrinkage inventory risk areas after implementation of wall-to-wall and perpetual stock takes and communicate these to the brands.
- To perform ad-hoc inventory functions, for example correction of store / DC finger errors, etc.
- To deliver weekly shrinkage reports to the business in line with Service Level Agreements.
**Minimum requirements**:
- Education and Experience:
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
- Account I at tertiary level (essential).
- 2 years retail financial/administration working experience (desirable).
Job related knowledge and skills:
- Computer literacy (MS Office) with advanced Excel (essential).
- SAP reporting skills.
- JDA reporting skills.
- Proven bookkeeping skills.
- Proven exposure to financial systems pertaining to inventory.
- Working in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues throughout the business.
- Ability to manage time around very specific weekly deadlines.
