We have been in the financial recruitment space long enough to know that when the economy takes a downturn, the temp/contract division picks up. The Contracting concept, for above the threshold contractors, is becomes more widely utilised by companies. We have 9 highly capable and experienced Perm Financial Consultants each with outstanding client relationships and a few contractors as a result but there is no one managing the temp / contract market leveraging the benefit of these relationships for a specialist Contracting division.

Historically we traded as Contract Accountants, but the TES labour regulations resulted in our moving more into Perm recruitment. In hindsight this diluted our influence in the contracting market and hence we are looking to appoint a person with the relevant experience, drive, and passion to rebuild what was once a 100+ head contracting division. Please note we need someone who eats and sleeps temp, has run a successful temp team before, has a good knowledge of financial positions and duties and most importantly understands the difference between margin and markup

Almost all my consultants have been with me for many years and those that leave often come back to CA. We have a hybrid WFH arrangement and flexible hours that work. I prefer to have someone wanting to build their own company with my company than a recruitment clone and thus I pay a base salary and have commission structure that is attractive. However, what is more attractive is that my team have fun.
