Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Handle routine and ad-hoc administrative tasks relevant to the execution of the function.
- Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments (Imports and Exports)
- Able to create Waybills on Courier sites.
- Perform local deliveries to key customers
- Able to request quotes on different freight forwarder sites and compare good rates
- Assist with Weights and Dimensions of devices and materials
- Arrange shipping for Repair and Returns requests from Engineers
- Liase with courier companies - (arranging collections and deliveries, queries)
- Attach documents to parcels for shipping (Waybill, delivery note, picklist, invoice etc)
- Scan shipments documents of received stock to Ops manager.
- Handle routine and ad-hoc administrative tasks relevant to the execution of the function
- Inspect received shipments.
- Receive and dispatch shipments.
- Deliver packages to customers in Gauteng province and on other provinces when required.
- Maintain accurate schedule trip/logbook for the delivery Bakkie (Mileage, fuel consumption
- Report all delivery related problems to senior staff.
- Liase with Warehouse team to notify of any changes to daily routes.
- Pick required stock as per description and quantities.
- Sign picklists as per required materials and quantities and pack stock into the boxes or flyer bags to prepare for shipping or deliveries.
- Pack received stock or received shipments stock in their respective cupboards.
- Perform Stock count (counting and confirming inventory)
- File stock count sheets and filing Manifests, signed del notes, Waybills, collection and delivery register.
- Housekeeping: Warehouse

Qualifications:

- Matric
- Drivers Licence Code B/ 10.
- Experience with IVDR ( Medical Diagnostics instrumentation and test kit) would be very advantageous
- Proven experience working in a warehouse and managing inventory
- Proven experience with delivery services ( ie deliveries using a vehicle/ driver)
- Knowledge of Imports and Exports
- Certification in Logistics, warehousing or inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Time management
- Communication skills
- Team player.
