**JOB PURPOSE**

The Storeman is responsible for accepting all deliveries of stock. This includes ensuring that they are not damaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for. He is also responsible for organizing the dispatch of finished goods and products.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- +1 year experience in storeman duties preferably within maintenance department.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and excel
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Improves and maintains storeroom standards.
- Documents and reports manufacturer’s part numbers on missing data in MM02 purchasing tab to company data capturers.
- Handles internal repair process, documents and tracks until part is returned to stock, fit for use, returned to stock from original work order or cost centre.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Ensure that the correct PPE is always used for tasks performed.
- Assist in equipment maintenance (Forklifts and fuel dispenser).
- Receive and check all incoming goods, check for damages and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Upkeep of warehouse (replenish stock).
- Assist in monthly stock take.
- Conduct systematic cycle counts of inventory to ensure inventory record accuracy and assist in periodic stock takes.
- Accurate stock picking.
- Package and dispatch outgoing goods.
- Over the counter service to internal customers and recording of stock issued.
- General housekeeping/cleaning of the store areas and storage facilities including storage racks.
- Effective teamwork and self-management.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From R5 192,00 per month
