A fantastic opportunity for a Settlements Officer has now become available within Computershare Registry division responsible for execution of transactions in accordance with set procedures and regulatory requirements and execution of client requests, settlements and queries.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about financial transactions? We’re seeking a Settlement Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate transaction settlements while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Timeous settlement and execution of transactions in accordance with set procedures and
- regulatory requirements.
- Timeous settlement and execution of client requests, settlements and queries in accordance with set procedures.
- Accurately capture instructions timeously
- Accurate record keeping in a safe and secure manner

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Diploma/Degree in Finance and Investment or equivalent / currently studying towards
- The qualification (would be an advantage)
- Strate exams (If not, should be willing to obtain this qualification)
- Experience in Settlements ( + -2 years experience)
- Knowledge of the Dealing desk (Will be an advantage)
- Knowledge of Strate
- Corporate Action knowledge (an advantage)
- Financial Market knowledge (an advantage)
- Knowledge and understanding of the CSDP Department environment

**Technical Skills**
- Computer literacy
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- MS Outlook
- Scrip knowledge (an advantage)
- Fortress knowledge (an advantage)
