Front Office Manager.

4* City Hotel - Cape Town is seeking a Front Office Manager.

Hospitality Management 3 years Diploma or Degree qualification

3 years Front Office Management experience in a 5* Game Lodges required

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with Good to Advanced Excel Skills

Good working knowledge / understanding of Hospitality PMS system - OPERA experience advantageous

Computer literate

Matric

Lead and manage Staff

Excellent Guest Relation skills required

Excellent staff relations skills required

Train staff

Understanding of, and able to manage reservations remotely

Planning and organizing of the front office department and rooms division department in conjunction with relevant
managers to meet the requirements of business.
- Meeting and exceeding guest service.
- Stress tolerance and able to work under.
- Ensure that rooms and public areas have been serviced and maintained to the standards laid down by the Company.
- Utilizing the principles of yield management to ensure RevPAR in partnership with the reservations department and sales

team.
- Effective liaison between all departments to ensure guest service delivery and maintaining of set standards and processes.
- To ensure maximum security in all areas under your control.
- Able to work Duty Management shifts
- Circulate regularly throughout all Front of House areas, maintaining a high profile with guests and staff.
- To prepare and submit on the required format annual budgetary information and updates as required.
- To monitor trends within the industry and make suggestions how these could be implemented.

Good communication skills and focused on guest satisfaction and service

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hotel Front Office: 4 years (preferred)
- Hotel Front Office Management: 3 years (preferred)
- Hospitality PMS - Opera: 3 years (preferred)
