**We’re hiring Tenthouse Structures is looking for a Cost Estimator to join our Product Development Team.**

**Qualification**:

- Degree in Cost Accounting / Construction / Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working as a manufacturing cost estimator is essential (calculating the costs of developing, producing, delivering a company’s products)

**Highly proficient in**:

- Costing methodologies
- Data analysis
- Advanced Excel

**Beneficial**:

- Ability to read & interpret technical documents & drawings
- Using software like SketchUp
- Understanding of INCO terms and freight costs

**Attributes**:

- Excellent analytical skills & attention to detail
- Proactive, self-starter
- Excellent written communication & interpersonal skills
- Great with reporting, database & document control
- Excellent time management skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Expertly cost products from concept to handover. Includes, but not limited to:

- Raw materials
- Design
- Manufacture
- Project Management
- Freight
- Site Services
- Formulate & maintain product costing databases
- Collaborate & coordinate with product design & supply chain to source & define BOQs, product specs, supply & manufacture pricing to populate costing databases
- Prepare cost estimates for products through the product design phase, delivering updated costs at appropriate design milestones to assess value engineering (together with Product Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager & CEO)
- Working with the Bid Manager:

- Provide recommendations & improve (consistency, reliability & speed) of cost-price models
- Prepare quotations on products using approved pricing framework
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required
