A company who specialises in the development of cutting-edge fintech solutions aimed to serve small and medium enterprises, has a new head of product position available. This is a fantastic opportunity for a product leader to grow the companies Product Management function. This will be done by working closely with the executive team to set direction for product strategy, define long-term product roadmaps and work with all areas of the business to deliver a fantastic product.

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, customer-focused, who is also technically savvy to ensure the product team is working efficiently with Tech to tackle the biggest business challenges.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing an effective Product Management function that is focused on user-centricity, is data-driven, and incorporates iterative product development
- Building an understanding of users through market research & customer engagement in order to adjust development accordingly and solve for problems along our customer journey
- Creating, owning and communicating the vision for our product strategy and roadmaps, alongside our Executive team, not only for existing but for future products too
- Grow and lead a Product team. You will be the direct line manager for Product Owners and Product Designers, eliminating blockers for teams to work efficiently and overall responsibilities for tech deliverables
- Work closely with our Marketing, Data and Engineering teams to understand business performance and key opportunities
- Drive user testing and user-focused activities, to ensure our customers are always at the forefront of what we do
- Be a champion of the product vision and strategy, implementing world-class product development practices
- Stakeholder management - you are the link between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring buy-in across the business and taking responsibility for the end product

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Product Management within a fast-growing company (start-up/scale-up)
- Over 5 years experience in a Product Management role
- Fintech experience preferred
- Proven experience in developing product strategies
- Proven, successful track record as a Product Leader with experience mentoring Product Owners
- Experience defining product strategy and prioritising roadmaps collaboratively
- Prior experience working with Engineering teams in an Agile environment
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and validating product hypotheses, and have proven success at identifying MVPs which transition to valuable and appealing products
- Technical acumen and genuine passion for technology
- Well-versed in core concepts related to UI/UX design
