An international super-fast growing tech company that are revolutionising hoteliers around the globe, have an exciting **job** opportunity for a **Head of Product** to join their team in **Cape Town**. They’re looking for you to help them become the most adopted hotel management system in the world by ensuring that their Product Team is operating at the highest level possible. You will be a key decision maker, with their CPO in both the development of their product and the growth of the Product Team.
Your key **job** responsibilities as the **Head of Product in Cape Town** will include:

- Assisting with creating and managing our product roadmap and product development process
- Working with the Product Manager and CPO to translate the product roadmap into a development schedule for optimisation in terms of their ways of working
- Provide information to the Product Team based on their clients, their sales teams, and marketing team and translate these into?product solutions?that deliver the value required for our clients
- Understand the financial and commercial impact of our competitors and the features provided
- Be responsible for project managing how we scope and design new features, products, and use-cases
- Provide innovative solutions according to sprints and the OPSP
- Provide information on trends in the hotel tech industry and how that impacts product development
- On a day to day basis, working with the CPO on decision making, providing facts for operational efficiency and ensuring execution thereof
- Ensuring the stability of our product is adhered to at all times
- Balancing the strategy and execution of expected outcomes
- Ensuring that the Product Team follows our agile approach
- Building an in-house Product Team that is resilient and hands-on

Requirements for this **Head of Product job** in **Cape Town**:

- Worked in SaaS company that’s revenue has hit €20 Million ARR
- Experience working in a bootstrapped environment
- Has strategically hired and built an inhouse product team as opposed to outsourcing
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Team Squad experience and experience in structuring a team according to a tech scale up
- International experience; Europe and Africa
- Worked with Product Manager(s) and understands the functionality
- Experience in ensuring team efficiency and management
- Organised, tough and logical
- Analytical and able to measure for results
- Can do attitude, gets things done and used to working in a fast paced environment
- Sensible in decision making and has ambitions to grow a startup
- Able to work under pressure, resilient and able to manage change accordingly
