South Africa’s Lifting Legend is looking for someone who can lift their weight as Technical Supervisor at their main branch in Benoni._

You are indeed someone who not only knows the ins and outs of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, accessories and the services required, but you also love dealing with people and ensuring safety and compliance in every aspect of this industrial business.

**What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)**

Supervising and managing your technical team is just one part of your day.

As a technical supervisor, you will have the opportunity to plan and schedule all branch progress and report findings directly to the branch manager.

Being highly invested in the crane manufacturing and supply industry means that you thrive on adhering to inspection schedules, coordinating maintenance and checking load test certificates.

You will organize work assessments around suppliers, subcontractors, materials, parts and other equipment coming in and out of the branch.

Within the services and sales division, you will aid the entire process of maintenance of current customers' turnkey solutions.

Our client is the largest crane company in SA and was established back in 1952, which means they know their business and they know it well. For them, being financially and technically strong is important, but building a grounded, caring, and safety-driven team is even more crucial.

**What you’ll need**

First and foremost, you will need to have a love for the industry and a motivation to grow your career within the space.

After that, the client is looking for someone who is a Millwright or a Qualified Artisan with knowledge of both electrical (3-phase) and mechanical experience.

Another important requirement is an LMI (Load Moment Indicator) certification.

You will certainly need above-average leadership and communication skills although within this industry, being hands-on and proactive is great, but being knowledgeable and sensible is the best way forward.
