JOB SYNOPSIS: As the Corporate Communications & PR Officer at ASI, your responsibility is to develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the ASI brand and business goals and values. To oversee internal and external stakeholder communications, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across various platforms. This role also involves managing media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement, to foster a positive corporate image. As a group company, ASI collaborates with various stakeholders on both B2B and B2C levels. The product and service offerings require a profound technical understanding. Hence, it is crucial to communicate our business service offerings, partner products, industry updates, and brands to the appropriate target market and stakeholders effectively and comprehensively. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Below is a description of the responsibilities you are expected to fulfil on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. **Responsibilities**: Communications Strategy & Public Relations Management - Develop communication strategies that support the organization's goals and resonate with the target audience. - Conduct a channel audit to identify the most effective communication channels for reaching the target audience and develop tailor communication tactics to suit each channel and audience segment. - Prepare regular reports to measure the impact of communication strategies and identify areas for improvement. - Identify key stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, investors, regulators, and the media, develop tailored communication plans for each stakeholder group. - Develop a proactive PR strategy to enhance brand image, foster brand engagement and protect brand reputation. - Develop and identify newsworthy content, and opportunities for positive media exposure, and to expand brand exposure in the market. - Prepare and distribute press releases, media pitches, and press kits to targeted media outlets. Build relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure media coverage. - Develop a comprehensive crisis and community management communication plan outlining roles, responsibilities, and protocols for managing crises. Technical Copywriting ASI Financial Services specialises in providing trusted and independent advice to Businesses related to Healthcare, Retirement, Wealth and Wellness, Short-Term Insurance, Group Risk, Cyber, Sectional Titles and more. You will be required to exercise technical copywriting skills that fulfil both, marketing and business objectives. Due to the nature of the industry and clients, technical proficiency in copywriting is essential. - Proficiency in crafting clear, concise, and engaging technical content tailored to various audiences, including members, business clients, providers and suppliers, and industry boards. - Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate complex information into easily understandable language without sacrificing accuracy. - Ability to conduct thorough research on technical topics, including insurance, property, government regulations and industry trends, to ensure the accuracy and relevance of written content. - Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in technical terminology, specifications, and documentation formats, while adhering to brand guidelines and style standards. - Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including external partners and collaborators and adapt writing style and tone to suit various platforms and audiences. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. - Proven experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, preparing and publishing press releases. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Business Writing, Copywriting, Financial Services Technical Writing (advantageous). - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels: Ability to engage Media, stakeholders and become a brand ambassador. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Demonstrated crisis management experience and the ability to remain calm under pressure. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Application Question(s): - What is your salary expectation? **Education**: - Bachelors (required) **Experience**: - CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS & PR OFFICER: 2 years (required)
