**THE ROLE**

We are looking for new business specialist who can SOURCE OWN _new business_ LEADS for car, home & contents & advise on PERSONAL LINES motor & household domestic insurance for Momentum Insure.

We are looking for SALES HUNTERS who are ENTREPRENEURIAL & are results oriented to be able to _**work on their own **_writing business in accordance with TARGETS.

This role is both in office & on the road and successful applicant must be _**prepared & willing to travel to client**_ sites for meetings.

We offer is a **basic salary**, plus **lucrative incentives** & **uncapped commission**.

Benefits - Medical Aid and Provident fund

There is also the potential to earn ANNUITY INCOME on successful **retention of business** sold over time, as well as eligibility to earn ANNUAL INCENTIVES that can range up x4 times the value of their basic salary.

**Qualifications**
- Matric/Grade 12
- FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010, a full recognised qualification as per the FSCA qualification list.
- FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5)
- CPD (continuous professional development) points

**Experience**
- A minimum of 2 years’ **experience sourcing **own **new business **(prospecting)
- Must have a proven track record in **face-to-face sales**:

- Experience dealing with Brokers (Broker sales) will be advantageous
- Short-term insurance sales experience is advantageous
- **Must have** - Own vehicle & licence

**Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to**
- Source and develop new business opportunities (new business acquisition)
- Cold calling, networking and lead generation
- Administration of client information on the CRM system
- Building brand awareness through client interaction
- Achieving sales targets

Key Competencies
- Strong sales abilities & must be _customer service orientated_
- **Very strong communicator**
