The projects division is responsible for developing and executing projects that support the company's strategic goals. The division's manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, controlling, and directing all activities in the division.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the operational and strategic requirements of the Projects Division ensuring alignment to regional and international requirements
- Coordinate and optimise, while ensuring alignment and Coordination of the main departments within the Projects Division and support functions.
- Project Execution
- Standard Products
- Engineered Products and Large Projects (EP)
- Production
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Installation, commissioning and handover of all projects
- Field Services nationally and execution of all Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Establish and maintain a positive and informative relationship with clients and consultants.
- Create and maintain commercial activities to promote the entire value proposition of the
- company including but not limited to field services, operation and maintenance, VWT
- products, AMO regional operations etc
- Create and Maintain effective processes and procedures to improve operational
- performance and emphasise collaboration
- Responsible for the operation of all Project Functions including:

- Input, as may be required, to Sales, design, costing and tendering;
- Preparation and control of budgets
- Overall management of all contractual aspects relating to projects
- Management and motivation of all staff in the Projects division.
- Full compliance with the Company and statutory safety requirements.
- Compliance with technical / quality requirements as defined by Client /
- Engineering
- Ensure that all projects finished on schedule
- Ensure that all projects costs remain within budget
- Strategic planning, marketing and new business development to ensure future
- Sustainability with the assistance and cooperation of the Business Development team.
- Accepts total authority for the operations of the Projects Business Unit, including but not
- limited to operations, Budgets, P&L management and optimisation
- Review and Approval of proposals (where required), orders and procurement / invoice
- instructions to be executed according to company procedures

**Duties**:

- Manage the daily operations of the Projects division and take full responsibility thereof.
- Optimise of the business operations by creating collaborative frameworks for the division and national and international BU's.
- Provide operational feedback to line manager / CEO etc.
- Generate forecasts for operations including P&L, Production and execution reports
- Assist in creating the strategic framework for the BU in line with national, international and regional goals.
- Ensure that the Departmental Managers and their staff including project managers, manufacturing managers, regional and national Field Service teams etc, complete projects to meet all of the following criteria:

- Full compliance with the Company and statutory safety requirements.
- Compliance with technical / quality requirements as defined by Engineering and
- Client requirements
- Finished on schedule
- Cost within budget
- Co-operate with the Finance and Administration Division in order to ensure that all client invoices, all orders for projects and supplier invoices are processed timeously and in accordance with Company's procedures.
- Take full responsibility for the site SHEQ requirements Projects
- Lead the projects department in ensuring projects are executed optimally and efficiently.
- Lead, review and approve project strategy, project execution plan, procedures, control systems, co-ordination mechanisms, SHEQ plans, and budget objectives
- Review, manage and take full responsibility for project cash flow and EAC financial controls.
- Identify and take necessary corrective action to achieve project objectives.
