**Local Product Group Manager - Secondary GIS**:

You will be working as a Local Product Group Manager - Secondary GIS, at global grade 11 and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Distribution Solutions Division based in, Longmeadow, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Local Business Line controller ELDS and will be ensure profit & loss and business growth through the local representation of the Global Product Group. Oversee country operations management of the Local Product Group.

**Your responsibilities**:

- 1. Strategy
- Implements the Global Product Group strategy in the Country/Cluster, and ensure business development, including profit and loss (P&L), in domestic and allocated market. Provide input to Global Product Group strategy and participate in Local Business Unit strategy development in partnership with local management team.
- 2. Performance targets
- Ensure development of performance target in line with global target and
- ensures achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement action as needed.
- 3. Market opportunities
- Evaluate market opportunities and decide appropriate activities in line with the strategy.
- 4. Profitability
- Ensures profitable business growth in the domestic and allocated market.
- 5. Quality
- Oversee production and/or execution of high-quality products, services and processes. Monitor quality metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement in local execution and oversee improvement activities.
- 6. Project execution
- Ensure the execution of projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results and customer satisfaction.
- 7. Research & development
- Oversee relevant local Research and Development initiatives,
- 8. Customer relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- 9. People leadership and development
- Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guide, motivate and
- develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

**Your background**:

- Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 7 Years of experience in a similar role with Sound financial business understanding.
- Experience in commercial conditions and management of frame agreements will be beneficial
- Leadership, People management skills, Strategic outlook.
- Familiar with electrical markets in the Utility, Industrial and Renewable segments
- Experience in switchgear manufacturing environment will be beneficial.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English language is a must.
